Very innaresting. My IP elves tell me that--in addition to getting a burst of visits from Bombay last month, which looks like it will continue this month--in the past three days I've gotten three hits from Saudi Arabia. The Ripe WHOIS database entry for the IP addresses in question helpfully tells me that

"If you experience high volume of traffic from IP in this block it is because your site is very popular/famous of Saudi Arabia community."

Fortunately, three hits does not constitute high traffic. The three sequentially numbered IP addresses originate in Jeddah, in Western Saudia Arabia, and--like all IPs in the that country--are administered through the Saudi Network Information Center at the King Abdulaziz 'City' for Science and Technology in Riyadh.

So...uh, hi, I guess. Thanks for letting us use our bases.

Oh, wait.

I guess I meant thanks for letting us move our stuff the hell out so we can use our bases in Qatar, instead.

I'm fascinated. Is it a student, this Saudi reader? A government peruser of Western media? Maybe it's just a search-bot.

At any rate, I'm glad the IPs are in Western Saudi Arabia, because the North and South, apparently, are full of Jihadists-in-waiting ready to flood into Iraq for the sacred privilege of getting puffed into pink paste by our expensive laser-guided munitions.

I like your site, Mr. Head. Visit every day.
Way I see it, there are two camps in the larger Pro-Invasion Tribe.
1. War For Peace-those who feel it's imperative something be done about Saddam with minimal loss of innocent Iraqi and of course American lives, simply because negotiations and sanctions failed in this case, and that it's neccessary for the security of the civilized world. Those who crave Justice.
2. American Pride- those who boast about our military prowess, like to taunt the enemy and call anyone against war "commie tree-hugging anti-Americans",(i.e. the ones who took over Yahoo Islamic Chat in the name of American Christians) have no qualms about killing anyone Islamic(no distinction betweem extreme and moderate), look forward to watching the carnage on the Evening News, ones who favor Treading on Others, just in case they might Tread On Us.
Those who crave revenge.
Occasionally the two might intertwine, but they shouldn't. We should never be proud of having to kill people, whatever the reason.
We shouldn't even be proud of how superior our War Machine is compared to others.
It's an apparatus that should be neither wanted nor needed, but needed it is. Boasting about it, to me, implies wanting and enjoying it.
My question is-which camp do you consider yourself to be in? Or are you in another camp altogether?
I'm primarily of the first camp, but I admit to sometimes visiting the other camp. Never for very long-something just doesn't sit right. It's one thing to be Proud of one's country-quite another to be Arrogant about that country's need to destroy for the greater good.
Anyway, my 2 rusty coins. KUTGW-

Thanks for reading! My comment turned into a post, which you've maybe already read...
